TITLE:
DESCRIPTION: A visual projection made at time of the VCAT hearing demonstrating how the size color and bulk of of the proposed screening device would be inconsequential when viewed in the context of it's surrounds. The permit applicant further argued that council's claim of heritage issues was irrelevant when the heritage overlay should not apply in this case as the street in question is composed of a mixture of contemporary and industrial buildings. The member for VCAT agreed with the permit applicant and set aside the responsible planning authority's notice of refusal.
