Digital Printing Standards

Prints are dry mounted on either side of a cardboard leaf resulting in a thicker page . Although many professional photographers would already be familiar with the material options available for flush mount albums it is important to highlight to non professional that the quality of results using this digital photo printing option are remarkably like traditional photographs. In essence this type digital photo printing yields prints that are almost identical to traditional prints.

The look and feel of Pegasus or Lambda digital photo printing is remarkably like a traditional photograph because in both options the papers used are light sensitive photographic paper which are basically the same photo papers used in traditional photo printing. The digital photo printing option is performed using a chemical developing process just like traditional photo printing, except that the photographic paper is exposed by the printer via digital means. Traditional photo printing entails the use of a light source and a lens to focus the negative image contained on analogue 'film' or 'photographic negative' to on light sensitive photographic paper.
