Ordering Procedure For Flush Mount Photo Albums
- Design your layouts: Please complete this step before ordering. You need a basic understanding of layout design. Of course you can always opt for single images on each page or you can opt to design each page as a layout of multiple images. Keep in mind that you need to select the required size of your page in accordance with the album sizes offered on this website. Please also keep in mind that some of our albums may require you to provide exrea images for the album covers.
- Purchase Your Album: Once you have created your layouts, simply order your album from our store, choose the cover materials (if applicable) number of pages and any other applicable options.
- Wait For Our Confirmation: Once your order is accepted, you will receive confirmation which will also include the location of our secure upload facility. There are a few basic step by step instructions at the upload facility that you need to read. From the upload facility you can create a password and work intuitively. If you opt to send your files this way the process requires you to be web savvy to some degree and should only be attempted if you think you are confident enough. If you feel that you cannot use the upload facility, you can opt to post a CD or DVD to us by mail. You also will receive mailing instruction in your confirmation email.
- Respond To Our Confirmation Email: Please let us know whether you have opted to upload files or send a CD by responding to the conformation email sent to you. If your file upload is completed and you are satisfied with the upload please let us know as we will need to close off your upload account (not your store membership account as this remains active) When your order is completed and being sent out to you we will notify you by email.

Trim Sizes
Please be aware that you will loose about 3-4mm around the edges of your image. This is called the 'Trim'. When laying out multiple images you should ideally allow at least 7 to 8mm form the edge so that the image is at least 5mm from the edge after the 3 to 4 mm trim area is lost. These are very simple specs to follow, however failure to comply with these specifications may yeild less than favorable results.
Full Bleed Layouts And Trim Sizes
Please be aware that you will loose about 3-4mm around the edges of your image. This is called the 'Trim'. If you intend to create a full bleed layout, please be aware that that 3-4 mm will be lost. If your layout is not full bleed please refer to the information above titled 'Trim Sizes'
Photo Cover Images
Some our album lines (namely, the Acrylic Cover Panel Album, Photo Wrap Cover Album and the Photo Hard Cover Album) require additional images to be submitted for the photo cover. When ordering one of these albums we may need to contact you regarding the front cover as the image often needs to be trimmed differently to the internal pages and may result in some image loss beyond the normal trim loss. To ensure a good fit please ensure that the subject(s) of your cover image is not a tight fit. For example: A half bust of a wedding couple should include a reasonable amount of loose space around the subjects. A image featuring a full length pose needs a significant amount of space, particularly top and bottom (above and below the subject(s).
Double Page Spreads/Layouts
You can spread a layout or image across two pages if you wish. We will print it as one and slice the two halves leaving a small gap in the middle (which forms the gutter) which is the standard practice for many Flush Mount Album manufacturers. The above trim sizes do apply.
